The 2025 Carlisle GM Nationals (June 20–21) once again delivered an unforgettable weekend of General Motors excellence at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. With 1,040 vehicles registered on the National Parts Depot Showfield and thousands of guests in attendance, this year’s show continued its long-standing tradition of being a must-visit for GM enthusiasts across the country.

Since 2001, the GM Nationals have celebrated all things GM, and 2025 was no exception. This year’s special displays highlighted 70 Years of the Tri-Fives, 55 Years of the Monte Carlo, and a 40^th Anniversary showcase of the ever-iconic IROC-Z. In addition, Novas, 3rd Gen Camaros and Firebirds, T-Bodies, X-Bodies, and more were given star treatment. These milestone moments brought rare and pristine examples of GM history together in one place. Beyond that, Building Y welcomed the Solid Lifter Showroom (SLS) with sought-after high-performance GM muscle cars.

Parades added to the festive atmosphere, with dedicated cruises for 3rd Gen Camaros and Firebirds, the T-Bodies, Tri-Fives, and Monte Carlos, while Bruce Larson’s Nitrofest returned with six pulse-pounding runs that delivered pure sensory overload. Meanwhile, guests, who attended from around the country and beyond, including Polard and Germany, lined up for crowd-favorite competitions like the Rolling Exhaust Contest, Rolling Burnout and Donut Contest, and the always-exciting Real Street Shootout Autocross contest.

Popular “shows within the show” continued to thrive in 2025, including the 3rd Generation Camaro and Firebird Nationals, Novas at Carlisle, and the charitable Corvettes for Chip showcase. Each added depth and variety to the event and gave attendees even more to enjoy.

From the Automotive Flea Market and Car Corral to the Manufacturers Midway, RADlisle 80s & 90s party, seminars, food, fun, and community—this year’s GM Nationals truly had something for everyone.

There was no shortage of awards either, with Carlisle Elite offerings given on Friday, plus even more awards dished out Saturday between car owners and car clubs. As the event wrapped, the message from guests was clear: 2025 raised the bar, with certain groups attending for the first time vowing to come back with even more of their car-crazy friends. Whether you came to shop, show, race, learn via seminars from GM Certified Master Technician Paul Koerner, or simply be entertained, the Carlisle GM Nationals delivered yet again.

Fund the Firehouse features a special window during the auction where donated vehicles, memorabilia, and automobilia cross the block—all with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local fire departments. At its 2025 debut during the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Auction, FTF raised $17,500 for Carlisle Fire & Rescue, helping support their mission to keep the community safe and ready to respond.

The giving didn’t stop at the auction. Carlisle Fire & Rescue was also on-site, popping popcorn for donations and "passing the boot" to collect additional support from generous attendees.

With the Fall Auction still a few months away, now is the perfect time to get involved. Carlisle Auctions is actively seeking vehicle donations, automobilia, or financial contributions. All donations are tax-deductible and directly benefit those who serve on the front lines of emergency response.

Even better, the FTF program is expanding. In addition to Carlisle Fire & Rescue, new beneficiary departments for 2025 include:

The automotive event season in Carlisle spans from April through October, and while each event provides unmatched automotive excitement and family fun, there isn’t a more family-friendly event on the Carlisle Events schedule than the Carlisle Truck Nationals. This year’s event takes place August 1–3 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and once again promises to wow attendees of all ages.

Gates open at 7 AM daily, and from the moment the first truck rolls onto the grounds until the final award is handed out on Sunday, there is no shortage of action and incredible sights. Trucks of all sizes populate the Showfield, and with this being Carlisle’s fastest-growing event over the past five years, showgoers can expect more than 2,500 trucks of all shapes, sizes, styles, and eras. You'll see antique firetrucks, cool custom vans, big rigs, heavy equipment and machinery, lowered trucks, lifted trucks—and a few creations that can only be described with one word: Wow!

With two great indoor displays, guests can choose between a gallery of Syclones and Typhoons in Building Y, or a “best of the best” gallery of trucks within Building T. Additionally, the pavilion on the east side of the grounds welcomes Vanarama, while the south side hosts the Big Rig Show & Shine.  Numerous clubs showcase their own unique features, including Sky High Rides, Old Body Styles, International Harvester, the Antique Truck Historical Society, and more.  Of course, the trucks themselves and truck clubs are just the beginning.  Event highlights include the following:

The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals is just over a month out (July 11-13) at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. This year, there’s a bevy of special displays and guests planned, but none bigger than what was recently announced in Detroit on Friday, June 6. Chrysler Brand CEO Chris Feuell shared that a special brand display will be featured this year at the Carlisle show, with Feuell herself also scheduled to make an appearance at the event on Friday, July 11. That’s right, a CEO of an OEM has confirmed their appearance for the largest-all Mopar themed car show in the world!

Feuell’s visit coincides with the Chrysler Century of Innovation celebration, commemorating the brand’s 100th anniversary, which officially took place on June 6, 2025. The exhibit will pay tribute to Chrysler’s rich history of innovation and design leadership. Details on featured vehicles and displays will be released as the event approaches.

Carlisle has welcomed OEM leaders before — most notably in 2015 when Stellantis design chief Ralph Gilles wowed attendees by doing a burnout in a pre-production 707-HP Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

Further amplifying the centennial celebration, Frank Rhodes, great-grandson of company founder Walter P. Chrysler, is teaming up with the Walter P. Chrysler Club for an expansive showcase. Spanning both the Carlisle Fairgrounds and the neighboring Expo Center, the tribute will feature historical displays, memorabilia, branded merchandise, and notable guests — bringing a century of Chrysler’s legacy to life.

Finally, as if this great news isn’t enough, the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals has confirmed that with support from the Walter P. Chrysler Car Club and powered by the Downtown Carlisle Association, the first-ever downtown Carlisle Chrysler Parade is happening at 7 PM on Saturday, July 12.  The parade will see vehicles depart a staging area near the fairgrounds, cruise at a parade pace on Pitt St. to High St., before turning left towards the square, then dispersing thereafter. 

While it would be a slightly different format than the parade, park, and party hosted for other events, it’s still a great opportunity for the community and car enthusiasts alike to converge to enjoy the downtown Carlisle community as well as celebrate the hobby and the cars that populate the largest all-Mopar themed event in the world!
